2024 DF140BTGX 25" Extra Long Shaft

The Suzuki DF140BTGX Outboard - 140HP Extra Long Shaft 25" is a powerful, reliable and innovative outboard engine.

The DF140BTGX showcases Suzuki's engineering, creating a quiet outboard for those who use their outboard for work.

Suzuki uses precision control to create smooth, precise control and immediate shifting particularly at low revs when maneuvering and improves fuel efficiency.

Suzuki's keyless start system creates a stress free starting system and acts as an immobiliser to protect against theft.

A Variable valve timing system is controlled by an automatic hydraulic pressure from the oil pump.

This unique model uses the Lean burn fuel control technology to predict fuel needs from the engines operating conditions. This results in improved fuel efficiency.

The DF140BTGX has a multi stage induction which allows the correct amount of air into cylinder. This translates to high power output during high speed operation.

A multi function gauge allows the user to view important information on a screen such as engine rmp and trim to boat speed and fuel economy.

A stainless steel water grip propeller has an interchangeable square shaped brush that offers efficient conversion of engine power to propulsion resulting in better grip and performance for the powerful outboards.

Enjoy easy maintenance thanks to our Easy Access Oil Filter that an be replaced by simply removing the top cover, an Oil Spill Catcher that we’ve added to catch oil that spills when changing the oil filter, and an Oil Level Gauge that can use a Φ15 oil changer hose.

ON THE BALL PERFORMANCE.

By positioning the crankshaft in front of the drive shaft, we’ve moved the outboard’s center of gravity forward, making the outboard more compact and increasing its performance. This design also significantly reduces vibration by moving the engine’s axis of inertia—the point where engine vibrations are at a minimum—up over the upper engine mount.
